Service Representative

Nelson Homes located in Lloydminster, Alberta is looking for a Service Representative for the Ready To Move Homes (RTM’s). This is a contracted position so applicant must have their own company and WCB (Alberta & Saskatchewan).

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key duties and responsibilities of the position are to complete 3 visits to each RTM.

-Move inspection - drive to house after delivery to assess, record & take pictures of any damage occurred in the move. Any major damage must be addressed immediately.

-Initial service – drive to house and complete all move damage and any other deficiencies.

-Year-end service – drive to house and complete year end deficiency list.

Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:

-Be very personable, outgoing, self-motivated, responsible, and hard working with a very high standard of customer service, workmanship, and exceptional communication skills.

-Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and their own tools.  Service van will be supplied.

-Must be able to complete the following repairs:

-replace shingles, siding, soffit, fascia and eavestrough

-adjust windows & both interior and exterior doors

-adjust cabinet doors

-basic electrical and plumbing, install lights and taps

-drywall touchups – nail pops - cracks

-paint touchups

-repair scratches on cabinets, benches, mantles

-repair all types of flooring

-Maintain the very high standards of Nelson Homes and act in a professional manner.
