Yard Labourer

Nelson Homes located in Lloydminster, Alberta is looking for a Yard Labourer. This is a full-time position with hours Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm and the occasional weekend.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key duties and responsibilities of the position are:

• Report directly to the Site Supervisor
• Unloading material with zoom boom
• Maintain a clean safe construction site
• Pick up and delivery of construction material
• Daily walk through of houses
• Prepare houses for delivery
• Seasonal work – shoveling snow, heaters & cords, cutting grass, picking up garbage etc.
• Any other duties assigned by Site Supervisor

Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:

• Be very personable, outgoing, self-motivated, responsible, and hard working with a very high standard of customer service with communication and time management skills
• Be extremely organized with the ability to multi-task
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Zoom boom experience would be a definite asset
• Knowledge and understanding of construction and blueprints would be an asset
